As of 2020, Malaysia is already an ageing society. By 2044, we’ll be an “aged society” and by 2056, a “super-aged society”. But despite knowing that our population is ageing, are we doing enough to address it? In this show, we take a look at the policies suggested in a recent report by the World Bank, titled “A Silver Lining: Productive and Inclusive Aging for Malaysia” and discuss what we can do better with consultant urologist Dr George Lee, consultant geriatrician Prof Dr Tan Maw Pin, and senior research officer from the Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing, Chai Sen Tyng.
