We take our heart for granted, expecting it to beat continuously and carry out its job of pumping blood without fail. However, age and many medical conditions can cause damage to the heart muscle, leading to a condition called heart failure. On World Heart Day, we learn about the signs and symptoms of heart failure, and what we can do to treat and manage the condition.
