Many of the health issues we face today are linked to our lifestyles and daily habits – hence, the constant messages about adopting healthier lifestyles. In line with that, health promotion plays a central role in encouraging people to take control of their health in order to prevent illnesses. Yet, the Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ismail recently tabled a Bill in Parliament, which will see the Malaysian Health Promotion Board (MySihat) being abolished.
