Earlier this month, it was reported that a 12-year-old boy in Malaysia had allegedly raped a four-year-old girl. The police said that he had been exposed to porn videos previously. This case follows the Youtube ad campaign on ‘safe touch’ that was launched by the Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development in June. We check in with consultant developmental paediatrician Dr Rajini Sarvananthan on how parents should teach their children about safe touch and consent.
