Malaysia will host the presidents of the world's current two top powers, almost back to back in October. By attending the 4th Global Entrepeneurship Summit on October 11 in Kuala Lumpur, President Obama would be the first sitting US President to visit Malaysia in 47 years. Preceeding that summit would be the official visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping from October 4-6. Elina Noor, assistant director of foreign policy and security studies at ISIS, explains the symbolism behind presidential visits, what we can expect and what this means for Malaysia's foreign policy.
