It's been said that art creates a universal platform for survivors to tell their stories, share messages of survival and create a platform from which to educate the community and end domestic violence. Writer Bernice Chauly and artist Chan Wen Li worked with the Women's Aid Organisation to produce the book Tina's Journey, which is a collection of words and poetry by domestic violence survivors. Both Bernice and Wen Li join us to discuss how creative writing and art can be a tool for healing, and a means for domestic violence survivors to find their voices.
