What we like to eat, what we wear, the types of things we enjoy doing - we often put this down to plain old preference. But does this also extend to our choice of sexual partner? On social dating apps, it isn’t uncommon to see racial preferences listed, whether explicitly or otherwise - is this just preference in one of the most personal, intimate area of our lives, or is it something else? Could it be racism? Answering that question today is Denton Callander, research fellow at The Kirby Institute at the University of New South Wales, who has conducted research in this area with interesting results.
