Now that the Petaling Jaya City Council announced that it will revert to using scratch-and-display coupons to collect parking fares, we ask Rajiv what was the rationale behind this switch, why the council found it a challenge to maintain parking metres around the city, and why one of the most economically-advanced city in the country is still yet to provide an app or mobile payment option for motorists.
