It was reported in January that Malaysia might introduce a registry for child sex offenders, nine years after the idea was first mooted. DSP Tan Gee Soon from the Sexual, Women and Child Investigation Division of the Royal Malaysia Police explains how a registry would work as well as how it can help law enforcement officers.
