Social enterpreneur and anti-litter advocate Peter Smith tells us about the Plastic Soup that is in our oceans, and lays out the facts - lives saved, diseases avoided and costs saved if every person picked up at least one piece of plastic from the streets and placed it in the correct recycling bin per day. The Klean Foundation also runs campaigns in the Netherlands to advocate litter reduction and converts plastic waste into decorative items for sale. In 2016, he will create The Plastic Madonna, a sculpture made out of plastic waste which will be placed on a beach in Rio de Janeiro in conjunction with the Olympic Games.
