China is an important market for Malaysian businesses, especially once the China-led-mega trade agreement, RCEP and the One Belt One Road Initiative take effect. However, in order to access the market, the businesses would rely on cross-border transfer of data for business operations - things like online advertising, social media presence, and even emails.
