It was also announced that Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayshal Wan Ahmad Kamal was also suspended for six months, in a motion that was heavily contested by Beluran MP, Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee.

4. The country has lost RM8 million in losses and damages in the past three years, because of floods. So how can we manage flood risks? We asked Meenakshi Raman, President of Sahabat Alam Malaysia, about the necessary adaptation measures to prevent these risks. We also hear from Afandi Nor Azmi, a Research Fellow at ISIS Malaysia, on the importance of shared responsibility in flood governance.
