The World Meteorological Organisation is now predicting that the world is more likely to break the key temperature limit of 1.5⁰C between now and 2027, and judging by the heatwave we are experiencing now, it's not hard to imagine that it is likely. Ahmad Afandi, Senior Analyst at the Institute of Strategic & International Studies (ISIS Malaysia), explains what can be done to counter this and whether or not it's too late.
