Last Friday, the Pardons Board reduced Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s prison sentence and fine. While this has left numerous unresolved questions lingering, criticism has been directed at both the prime minister and political parties within the unity government questioning their commitment to stamping out corruption. Ong Kian Ming, former Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and member of DAP gives us his views on the ramifications of this especially among loyal DAP supporters.
