OSA: Do We Still Need It?

The Morning Run breaks down the Official Secrets Act 1972 and gets into the different aspects of the issue of transparency and national security. This comes on the back of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong confirming that the government will repeal the OSA and replace it with the proposed Freedom of Information Act. However some vital parts of the outgoing OSA will need to live on in the new act.
