Last year, photojournalist S.C. Shekar stumbled across a community of Orang Asli families living in the vicinity of a landfill in Bandar Muadzam Shah. Subsequent media reports on the living conditions of the community, particularly young children, sparked a range of reactions, from disbelief to denial. We speak to Shekar for his take on the story.
