Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has announced that the government is looking into opening up the national grid for green energy exports. This follows Putrajaya’s move to allow third-party access to the grid system for renewable energy firms and local corporations to trade electricity directly. So, how will this affect the adoption of renewable energy by Malaysian companies as well as global players?
