In light of Putrajaya's spyware purchase, it is now out in the open that Malaysians are under government surveillance. Several exposés by the media this year alone are attributed to leaks by institutions aware of corruption happening within their own walls. However, the backlash is equally serious with several media organisations now facing trouble with authorities. Has investigative journalism become much more difficult in the age of surveillance? This episode was produced by Aziff Azuddin, Aisyah Tajuddin, Sharyl Kaur and Muhammad Haniff Baharudin.
