Psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud recognized sexuality in children that was specific to an individual’s development before they become adults. He sought to explain its development as a series of phases proceeding from oral to anal to genital. Despite these use of these terms Freud believed that these sexual feelings are actually part of their larger relation to the world. In this episode we explore this idea and seek to find contemporary relevance in it.
