In conjunction with an upcoming town hall scheduled for August 29th where the focus of discussion will be the long-lasting concern & issues plaguing the collection of music royalties, specifically the utilization of music across various platforms, including broadcasting stations, and more.We're joined by Datuk Freddie Fernandez who leads the non-profit organization known as the Malaysian Artistes' Association (Karyawan), has for years been advocating for a range of measures which encompasses the establishment of clearer directives, a more straightforward framework, and an equitable distribution of royalties for artists, spanning both those in the mainstream and those operating independently. Additionally, he is set to participate as a panelist during the forthcoming townhall event, slated to take place at Dewan Tunku Abdul Rahman within the MaTIC complex on Jalan Ampang.
